Terms of Service

Short version: SwimX helps you take and follow times in the pool. It's a tool for coaches and swimmers, not a substitute for a coach's or a doctor's judgement.
A tool, not a coach
SwimX records times and shows their stats. It doesn't provide medical training programs or health advice. Decisions about load, recovery and health stay with the coach and, where needed, a sports physician.
Age
You must be at least 16 to register. Under that, a parent's consent is required. A coach may add the names of minor athletes as team entries: they must have the parents' consent to process that data.
Your responsibility
Only enter data you have the right to process (your own times, or your athletes' with proper consent). Don't enter third parties' data without permission.
Time accuracy
Times taken live or read off the pace clock carry the usual imprecision of manual timing. For official times, the meet's electronic timing is authoritative. SwimX is for training and tracking progress, not for ratifying times.
Suspension
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (automated bulk entries, prohibited content, attempts to access others' data).
Intellectual property
The code and design of SwimX belong to Saverio Mazza. Your times and your team's data belong to you: you grant us only a technical license to process and display them.
